Well hellooooo. After taking a vacay from foodie blogging for the weekend, I feel like there is no single post that I could write to fully recap the last three days. Because I know you all are lost without a play-by-play of my life. Being the good-former-law-student that I am, I will provide an outlined version of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Friday:
- 5.2 mile HILL (like really HELLY-HILL) run in 44min and change (I didn’t take my watch…) Poor Randy who encouraged me to get back out on the road then had to listen to me bitch the whole time during the first 2.5 miles as we ran uphill the whole way. Is this the last hill? Are we almost done? I hate running…Sorry! But, went at lunch
- Learned how to be professional. Ah, continuing legal education. You are so useful.
- Took the pup to the dog park. He was his usual nutball-self, running in circles…with no one chasing him and no one to chase. He’s special. Really.
- I was majorly lame and stayed in. Even though sister called and suggested I go to a concert of a band that both she and my music producer cousin know and love. But, like I said, I’m lame.
Saturday:
- Went over to the ATL to pick up my NEW SPECS!!!!! If I didn’t look dead right now, I would take some pics of them. But I do, so I won’t
- Had Brunchies with the girls, most of whom are all still associates at big law firms. This tidbit will become important in the next post about my “Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes”.
- Went to a party at Holly’s where we played Apples-to-Apples. My new favorite game.
Sunday:
- Noah and I had an unsuccessful attempt at fixing my flat tube. I believe that I was truly indispensable. I sat and watched better than anyone could have. I need to get my front tire done and ready to roll so I can get back out on the road, though.
- I spent the rest of the day getting ready for trials this week. Three are a go for Tuesday and Wednesday, so should be fun/stressful. Please prepare yourself for a crazy girl this week.
In other news: I LEAVE FOR BMIZZLE on FRIDAY!
Wow. That even bored me. And I love talking about myself. (Who doesn’t? Or rather more precisely, what blogger doesn’t?)
